Time and Meeting Place: 2 p.m. Please arrive 10-15 minutes in advance of walk to register, and use the washroom, etc. Meet at the Resource Centre/Museum in Longwoods Road Conservation Area – 8348 Longwoods Road, Mount Brydges, ON.
Certified Forest Therapy Guide: Katie Jersky
Walk Description: Experience the rejuvenating practice of spending time in the forest to support health and wellbeing. Join Forest Therapy Guide, Katie Jersky from Peaceful Pine Wellness for a gentle, slow-paced walk in Longwoods Road Conservation Area to relax and reconnect with nature. Discover fresh perspectives through a series of sensory-oriented invitations that nourish a deep appreciation for the natural world and calm the body and mind.
Terrain: Walking maintained trails that include grass, dirt, gravel, uneven terrain and some slopes.
What to Wear/Bring: Please dress for the weather, wear sturdy walking/hiking shoes, and comfortable clothing. Bring a water bottle, hat, sunscreen, jacket for light rain/cooler weather, and bug spray. The walk is intended for adults. Please leave pets at home. This guided walk is subject to COVID-19 regulations at the time and may be postponed due to weather conditions. Please do not attend if you are feeling unwell.
