Get outdoors and try something new! Snowshoe rentals will be available at the Resource Centre / Ska-Nah-Doht Museum for $8 + hst per pair on Saturday, February 18, 2023 from 10:00 a.m.- 4:00 p.m. weather permitting. Ska-Nah-Doht Museum will be open to the public during this time.
Snowshoeing is a great way to enjoy the outdoors, have fun, connect with nature, and get in some physical activity.
Reminders:
– parking is $5 by coin or credit card at the auto-attendant at the front of Longwoods Road Conservation Area
– snowshoe rentals are $8 + hst per pair
– final rental 30 minutes before the end of the rental day/period
– do not wear high heeled boots
– stay on the trails or in open spaces
– do not go into the wooded areas
– wear light layers
– bring water along
