Where: Wardsville Community Centre (21996 Hagerty Road, Wardsville)
The Lower Thames Conservation Authority will be holding a stewardship information night on February 4th, from 7-9pm at the Wardsville Community Centre (21996 Hagerty Road, Wardsville). The night will include complimentary food and drinks as species at risk biologist, Vicki McKay, speaks about aquatic species at risk in the Thames River – a Canadian Natural Heritage River- and how landowners can get involved. Stewardship staff will be available to speak on how you can get started on a project, with funding available for tree plantings, wetland creation and riparian buffers.
