Longwoods Road Conservation Areaย spans 63 hectares of forest, ravines, and wetlands in the Carolinian Life Zone. Its highlight isย Ska-Nah-Doht Village, a recreated Indigenous settlement, alongside heritage log cabins and a museum with artifacts, exhibits, and a gift shop. Visitors can exploreย 10 km of scenic trails, many wheelchair accessible, with boardwalks and bridges offering stunning views. The site also features aย significant wetland, picnic areas, group camping, and a rentable pavilion. Educational programs and public events run year-round, making it a vibrant destination for nature lovers, families, and history enthusiasts alike.

After much planning and preparation, we are pleased to announce that Ska-Nah-Doht Museum will be reopening to the public on Tuesday, January 6, 2026! The Museum will be open for winter operating hours, Monday โ€“ Friday, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Ska-Nah-Doht Village is open to the public from 9 a.m. to dusk daily.
