It’s a New Longwoods / Ska-Nah-Doht Event! Covid Compliant!

REGISTRATION IS FULL THANK YOU!

Pre-register for “Hallow-Scenes” Drive Thru – One Night Only!

Longwoods Road Conservation Area in Strathroy-Caradoc – Lower Thames Valley Conservation Authority presents “Hallow-Scenes” on Thursday, October 29, 2020 at the Longwoods Road Conservation Area.  Our Pandemic Management Committee has approved a “by pre-registration one night only drive thru” from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. for some seasonal fun and frights put on by Longwoods staff and volunteers!  You must pre-register for your time. Numbers are limited.  Registration opens Tuesday, October 13th at 9 a.m. until all spots are filled.  Admission is $10 per vehicle, cash on arrival.  Sorry, Conservation Area Parking Passes are not valid for this night. The event will not be rescheduled in case of inclement weather.  COVID-19 Guidelines for Drive-Through Events will be in place for the safety of our visitors, staff and volunteers.

Some of your favourite characters who star in our events like the Battle of Longwoods and Spirit of the Harvest are back!  But you will have to look twice as some have been transformed into Zombies and Werewolves!  The “Hallow-Scenes” Drive Thru starts from the Longwoods Road Conservation Area entrance and meanders through the darkness down the main conservation area road to a secret exit.  Along the way, volunteer family “pods” will be creating seasonal scenes to make you laugh or BOO yourself!  It will be family friendly for all ages.  The main feature will be the Hallowed Hay Wagon – a feast for the eyes with carved pumpkins lit up to put you in the mood for Halloween! The night is alive!

There is only One Way in and One Way Out! So, stay in your vehicle if you want to make it home safely and because you will be following the COVID-19 event rules!  There will be no contact with staff or volunteers from the beginning to the end.  Looky, look but no touchy!!  Have your cameras ready!  Longwoods Road Conservation Area is located at 8348 Longwoods Road, Mount Brydges.

For more information and to pre-register call the Resource Centre at 519-264-2420 between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m., Monday through Friday.  Karen or Agnes will be happy to haunt you…we mean help you!
