Machine Tree Planter Specifications

Chatham-Kent

We have two Tree Planters available:

Light Duty- Hydraulics with Pioneer Tips, can be pulled with 1 7/8th ball hitch (sandier sites)

Heavy Duty- Hydraulics with Pioneer Tips, can be pulled with a ¾ ton pick-up with a draw bolt (clay sites)

First come first serve for planter rental-pick up at:

CM. Wilson Conservation Area
21799 Fargo Rd., Highways 40 and 401 (Municipality of Chatham-Kent)

• 35 hp or more is recommended
• both tree planters are $85/ day+ tax if trees purchased from LTVCA
• Call Western District Supervisor - Russ Dysarz 519-354-8184 to make arrangements
• Bring cash or cheque payable to LTVCA

Elgin and Middlesex

We have two Tree Planters available:

Light Duty- 3 point hitch, must be picked up with tractor or with trailer, 25-30 hp, PTO minimum

Heavy Duty- Pull type -hydraulic lift, pioneer tips, 50 hp, PTO minimum, can be towed with 1/2 and 3/4 ton pickup, 24 inch tow height minimum

First come first serve for planter rental-pick up at:

Longwoods Road Conservation Area
8348 Longwoods Rd. (Middlesex County Rd. 2) (Municipality of Strathroy-Caradoc)

• both tree planters are $85/ day+ tax if trees purchased from LTVCA
• Call Eastern District Supervisor - David Little or Construction and Maintenance Technician - Bruce Clark 519-264-1500 to make arrangements
• Bring cash or cheque payable to LTVCA
