
Stirling Conservation Area
Stirling Conservation Area is a 8.09 hectare forest. The Lower Thames Valley Conservation Authority acquired this property in 2011, as a result of a donation from Mr. Jim Stirling.
Directions
The Stirling Conservation Area is located on Rondeau Estates Line in the Community of Harwich, in the Municipality of Chatham-Kent. From Blenheim take Chatham Street south (County Rd.11) (which turns into County Rd. 3). Continue south onto Talbot Trail (Hwy. 3) heading northeast. Turn south onto Kent Bridge Road then turn west on Rondeau Estates Line. The Stirling Conservation Area is located on the north side of Rondeau Estates Line. Watershed Map

Although there are currently no marked trails, picnic tables or other facilities at this conservation area, this forest is open for dayuse from 8 a.m. to 10:30 p.m. year-round, free of charge.
Natural Features
A 2010 Ducks Unlimited / Ministry of Natural Resources wetland pond project was undertaken in the southeast corner of the property. This project is visible from the road, with interpretive signs.
The Holdaway Drain flows from north to south through the easterly limits of the property.
