The Lower Thames Valley Conservation Foundation works in partnership with the Lower Thames Valley Conservation Authority, helping to raise funds to encourage wise management of our renewable natural resources. The Conservation Foundation was created to cultivate and enhance all aspects of conservation, helping to provide present and future generations with a safe and healthy environment which includes our natural and cultural heritage resources. Donations in memory of Dr. Lewis Carey are being accepted by the Lower Thames Valley Conservation Foundation for the Carey Carolinian Trail and Arboretum. The Lower Thames Valley Conservation Foundation is a registered charity and tax receipts will be issued for all donations. Donations can be mailed to: Lower Thames Valley Conservation Foundation, 100 Thames St., Chatham, ON, N7L 2Y8 The "Save the Cabins" Trillium grant project is now complete.We are now trying to raise $14,000 from corporate and private donors for wheelchair ramps for each of the 3 cabins and for roof canopies over each of the 3 exterior staircases.
